Cameroun : les clubs boycottent la reprise du championnat
Le championnat n’a pas démarré au Cameroun. Prévue ce week-end, la 1ère journée du championnat camerounais n’a pas eu lieu en raison de l’appel au boycott lancé par le Syndicat des Clubs d’Elite du Cameroun (SYCEC).
Le mot d’ordre a été suivi par 11 des 16 clubs de l’élite One. Le SYCEC réclame la tenue de l’assemblée générale ordinaire de la Ligue de Football Professionnel afin de débattre de questions importantes avant de démarrer la saison.
En face, le Général Pierre Semengue, président de la Ligue de Football Professionnel, campe sur ses positions et a mis la pression en rappelant aux clubs qui ont déclaré forfait ce week-end qu’un deuxième forfait entraînerait leur rétrogradation conformément au règlement. Une affaire à suivre.
