Décès de Séyi Mémène : Augustin Senghor rend hommage au Togolais

Augustin Senghor a rendu hommage à l’ancien vice-président de la Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF), le Togolais Séyi Mémène qui a rendu l’âme ce week-end. Le décès de l’homme de 86 ans qui est très connu dans le paysage footballistique africain a engendré plusieurs réactions à travers le continent.
Le président de la Fédération Sénégalaise de Football n’a pas voulu rester en marge de l’évènement. Alors Augustin Senghor a rendu un vibrant hommage au Togolais.
Le Sénégalais, candidat aux prochaines élections de la CAF a suivi le pas de ses ainés, en rendant hommage à l’illustre disparu : « Triste Nouvelle pour le Football africain ! Le Général Seyi Méméne s’en est allé ! Condoléances à sa famille, à ses amis de toujours dont le Président Hayatou, à la Fédération Togolaise de Football ! Je t’admirais personnellement. Reposes en paix, Général ! », a posté Augustin Senghor sur son compte Twitter.
